    Re: Android trackr

at the moment the iPhone app is being prepared to get into the Appstore, after that development may continue for the Android version.

haven't heard a no from the developer though, I assume the Android version will be developed further after Apple has accepted the app into the store.

I understand the concern about the development timelines, let me clearify: trackr is freeware and is build in the spare time of the developer.

    Re: Android trackr

Thanks, I really appreciate the update.

Ofcourse I understand the long timelines, I do some "spare time work" myself and complaining people can be a real pain :)

The thing I don't understand is the lack of communication. How hard is it to create just one new topic in which you explain the situation. Update it once every couple of weeks/months and people are happy.

Thanks again, I'll get back in the waitingroom now ;)

    Re: Android trackr

And almost two years now since "an Android version is currently under development."

Please tell us what the status is. Or what the problem is. Or at least why you are not responding.

There are replies in other threads, I know you're still out there reading this. :x

    Re: Android trackr

    Hi,

I've also came from a WM to an Android device, and Trackr was one of the apps I've loosed. So, had to star looking for an substitute:

    - instamapper: works well but misses the tracks history (i can save them and see it, but my friends can't)

    http://www.mapmytracks.com/ : found this recently, because also had to find a substitute for Ozi, and Oruxmaps is a god replacement; Oruxmaps allows you to live track your position in mapmytracks;

    Re: Android trackr

I just said goodbye to Winmo and I'm a really happy Android user now.

The one thing I really really miss now is Trackr... I plan on carrying my old winmo box on my next trip just because of Trackr.

I'm really willing to pay for an Android version of Trackr
